Hallo zusammen

Wir haben gestern eine neue Version von IRControl mit folgenden Änderungen/Neuerungen veröffentlicht:

• HTTP Commands nun mit mit Content-Type für den HTTP Header konfigurierbar

• Restart von IRControl, wenn die App im Hintergrund war und von Android aus dem Speicher entfernt wurde

• Quick Edit Modus: Pageeditor direkt aufrufen von einer Seite (Swipe vom untern rechten in den oberen linken Bereich der Seite)

• Double Click Event auf dem Navigator Pad

• Timing Commands nun für alle Kommanttypen möglich (auch Abfolge von Commands)

• fire von globalen Variablen über System Command nun möglich.

Wir werden in den kommenden Tagen auch die Onlinehilfe noch entsprechend ergänzen.

Ich hoffe, wir konnten damit das eine oder andere Problem lösen,

Do you have this problem only on the Executor or also on Plus version?

We will check this. I can't say actually how quick this is possible because we first have to find the reason, why IRControl does not run on this devices.

Let me explain this dropdown box "Main Page" and its function during export. The description in online manual is not very detailed but not wrong. It is a very specific functionality witch makes sens if you runs on an other device the IRControl Executor and you don't want a completely separate configuraton. In this case you can configure an your Device you make the configuration an extra "Main" page for your installation for the Executor (with other name of course). When exporting (not full backup but export only some pages) you can parametrise that this page will be renamed during export to "Main". So it is the main page on the target system.

Thank you for your example. We could analyze and also locate this problem. It occures with image buttons that have in addidtion some text and a timing acction is configured. With pure image buttons (without text) thid does not happen. Of course we will fix this in the next release.

Hi there

We tested any access to the SD Card with an Samsung Device with Android 10. So it not clear what happens on your devices. Maybe it is a question of access rights.

The security of Android 10 is more restricted than in earlier versions. So it is no more possible to access the SD Card directly from an App. You have to do this over System functionality (Dialogs) from operating system. This is also the reason you can not enymore enter a path and filename on the user interface of IRControl. After process the data export functionality this system dialog should be called where you can choose directory path and enter the filename. The mystery is, that this diealog is apparantly not called in your cases. We will invest some time to find the reason, but it will be difficult because we cannot reproduce this behaviour.

We analyzed the situation deeply if the Android OS does remove the App from memory because it is in background. When bringing the App in foreground again it will not be restartet (only the priviously startet Activity will be startet). So everything you previously had in memory is lost.
We could solve this problem be restartint die IRControl App in this situation. It is planed to release a new version including this change until the end of janurary.
