Wir haben heute die Version 3.00 von IRControl veröffentlicht. Wir haben sehr viel Zeit dafür investiert und die Benutzeroberfläche komplett überarbeitet. Die Benutzerführung ist nun noch verständlicher geworden und das Design ist moderner.

Wir bieten keine "Gratis-Version" mehr an. Dafür gibt es für Einsteiger eine Testversion, mit der die Funktionalität von IRControl vollumfänglich getestet werden kann. Die Testversion (Trail Version) ist zeitlich für 21 Tage limitiert.

Sorry for the late answer. You can't "upload" any pictures in picture categories, which you have created yourself. This feature is exactly for the case, you have a lot of pictures you want to use. The picture category is linked to a directory on the SD Card (which you have to select while creating the picture category, e.g. the download directory). Imange in this directory automatically are available for page layout while selecting the category.

We just released the iOS version of the IRControl Executor. The two Apps are available for download in the Apple App Store at following links:

Existing configuration can be transfered with the transfer function from a Android device to the iPhone/iPad (both devices must be connected to the same WLAN).

Can you send us your complete configuration? You can export it in Datatransfer part / Export / Check "Full backup", then enter a filename and press process. The file will be stored in the download directory on your SD Card. Please send it to info@cec.gmbh. Perhaps we could find the problem when we can analyse your data.

Hi there

The My Sky decoder uses a infrared protocol named xmp-1 which is not verry popular. This is also a really complex protocol. We tested it with several infrared devices. Most of them couldn't recognize this infrared sequence with the integrated learn function. But with the Broadlink RM Device it should work. IRControl uses the same interface to communicate with the Broadlink device as the broadlink app. So it should not be a difference. Maybe you have to learn the keys again, if they do not work.

Tips:
- press the key on the remote control very shortly for learning (otherwise the sequence will be sent multiple times)
- keep the remote about 30 cm / 12 inches away from the Broadlink device for learning

Logitech has released now a new firmware (4.15.250) for the Harmony Hub, with which the XMPP interface (which is used by IRControl and a lot of other 3rd party software) can be enabled or disabled. You have also to update the Logitech App to use this.

You can enable the XMPP interface in the Menu -> Harmony Setup / Add Edit Device & Activities / Remote & HUB /Enable (or Disable) XMPP

Logitech writes that they have to decide to continue the support of the XMPP interfache (comment: they didn't support this interface until now) which give us some sureness, that we can support the Harmony Hub also in future.

Hallo Zusammen

Logitech hat nun einen neuen Release der Hub-Firmware veröffentlicht, mit der sich die XMPP Schnittstelle (welche von IRControl und vieler Drittsoftware verwendet wird) ein- und ausschalten lässt. Möglich ist das ab Firmware 4.15.250. Es braucht ebenso eine Aktualisierung der Steuerungs-App von Logitech.

Einschalten lässt sich die XMPP Schnittstelle über das Menu -> Harmony-Einrichtung / Geräte und Aktionen hinzufügen und bearbeiten / HUB / XMPP aktivieren bzw. deaktivieren.

Logitech schreibt, dass sie entschieden haben die XMPP Schnittstelle weiter zu unterstützen (Anmerkung: Bis anhin hat Logitech diese Schnittstelle nicht unterstützt) was uns für die Anbindung von IRControl auch etwas Sicherheit bringt.

So if there is a simple way to send commands to a Wifi Device (via HTTP, UDP or TCP) you can control it with the corresponding Gateway. If the communication with the device is more complex (for example with a password access), this logic must be integrated in IRControl.

As I understood, you can install an alternative firmware (Sonoff Tasmota), which has very simple http commands. You can configure this commands with the HTTP Gateway.
