Data export/backup in IRControl will be stored on your sd card. Depending on android version on your device, it is necessary that you grant permissions to access the sd card to the IRControl App. You can do this in the settings of android (Apps -> IRControl -> Permissions / Storage). This is a security mechanism of the android operating system, that prevents Apps can access (delete) your data. So you can control your Apps, if they really should have Access to the sd card.
