Is it possible to control a wifi device (like Sonoff Basic wifi switch) with this app?

Hi Inthouse

So if there is a simple way to send commands to a Wifi Device (via HTTP, UDP or TCP) you can control it with the corresponding Gateway. If the communication with the device is more complex (for example with a password access), this logic must be integrated in IRControl.

As I understood, you can install an alternative firmware (Sonoff Tasmota), which has very simple http commands. You can configure this commands with the HTTP Gateway.

You can read more about Sonoff Tasmota here:

kind regards,
Urs

Thanks for your reply, but my sonoff is with original firmware.
Does this app support IFTTT commands?
It would be easier if inside the application I could call an ifttt routine

Hi
I recently read in several Hass forums that eWeLink support has been added without changing the device's firmware. I did a test on the Home Remote Designer (you probably know) and all my Sonoff Basic worked perfectly. Could you verify again if is possible to implement this feature in IRC?

And Sonoff works simultaneously on Ewelink as on Home Remote.

Hi
The Home Remote does not use ifttt, it only connects to my Ewelink account.

Hi Stevens

This device is not supported with IRControl. If this router has the possibility to control it via http, udp or tcp it would be possible anyway. But we don't have any information about this router, so we can't say more about.

Urs
