Hi!
I installed 2 different IR transmitters: Blitzwolf IR controller and Shojzj (!!!) IR/RF controller (model JS-A1-433MHZ) and both work very well. Shojzj even learned the RF signals (great!).
My question is: when I install these devices in IRControl app, they disappear from the Tuya or Smartlife app, and this way I cannot use these devices by voice command (with Echo Dot or Google Home). How to solve this?

Hi

This is also the behaviour we had when testing the tuya cloud. We have to open a support ticket at tuya support. Actually we have no idea how to solve this. I will i nform you if there are any news.

regards,
Urs

Hi

I have the answer from Tuya:

"one device can only be configured with one application, not multiple applications"

Seams to be not the best solution ...

kind reagards,
Urs

wouldn't it be possible just send commands to a thuya gateway device without ircontrol being seen as an app on that cloud? (just like Alexa does, i suppose)

Hi

No, there isn't an open API for sending commands directliy to the device, otherwise we would use it. We see it generally not as a very good solution to control an infrared transmitter over a cloud. There are several problems, so we think there exists more interessting devices.
